Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Kayode Oladele, popularly known as Kaybobo, has opened up about the lessons he learned during his time on the show and how life has evolved since leaving the house.

Learning to Manage Emotions

“How to not react to what people do instantly and just not be able to fight people because of how they talk to me because that was one of the biggest things I had in there. I just remember that people were saying things that doesn’t sit well with me and in reaction to that it caused my action of fighting with people.”

Life After BBNaija

Speaking on life after the reality show, Kaybobo described the journey as both challenging and exciting, noting that the platform has opened doors to new professional opportunities.

“It’s been a lot of opportunities and I’m grateful for that and all glory to God first. Coming out of the house it’s been tedious, it’s been exhausting but at the same time quite exciting.”

He added:

“I’ve been able to work with many brands, work on movie projects and also start doing my culinary storytelling, infusing acting with food. My upcoming project coming out soon is a restaurant.”

Sports Shaped His Discipline

Before entering the entertainment industry, Kaybobo built a career in sports, a background he says continues to influence his approach to life and work.

According to him, athletics taught him valuable lessons in discipline, accountability, and focus.

“It has shaped me to be disciplined to be able to go at the things that I want to go at in life. Being a sports person taught me to stay focused, take accountability and be responsible.”

Looking Ahead

As he continues to expand his career across entertainment, entrepreneurship, and culinary storytelling, Kaybobo says he remains grateful for the opportunities that have followed his time on Big Brother Naija and is focused on building new ventures, including the launch of his restaurant.
